Evil often appears to triumph unhindered: oppressive governments, slave labor, genocide, racial targeting, sex trafficking, domestic abuse, etc. For those under the oppression these questions nag: Will evil always triumph? Can a good God allow all of this? Our text reveals woes on five types of evildoers in Habakkuk's day. God will deal with them. But the righteous must have faith, and wait.
