Because our goal is to seek God, not impress each other, we don't have any expectations about formality of dress. Some of our people will dress up, as it helps them express reverence when they come to worship God, but others prefer to dress more casually, recognizing that God's focus is on the heart. Whichever approach you choose, you'll be welcome among us.
During the main service, the pastor usually preaches a series of expository messages taken from a book of the Bible; in other words, we want the main point of the passage to be the main point of the sermon. Lessons in our Sunday Morning Bible Study either focus on a book of the Bible or follow a theme on a particular topic.
The pastor usually preaches from the New American Standard translation, however we have people who use a variety of translations, such as the ESV, NKJV and KJV.
We have a Sunday School class for children, and we are eager for more families with kids to join us.
Our music typically consists of a blend of traditional and modern hymns, accompanied by a piano and a guitar.
